Rob McLoughlin has created and fronted the first edition of The Guide as Manchester Cathedral, which dates its origins back to 11th Century, experiments with a new HD TV/content service as it considers becoming the first Cathedral to have its own channel.
 
Bill Turnbull discusses his role on the BBC’s Songs of Praise and his own religious beliefs as the programme goes behind the scenes and feature new music and art for the Cathedral. There’s also a brilliant performance by 15 year old violinist Lia Tang and a piece by Bach is performed by the Cathedral Choristers Directed by Christopher Stokes.  
 
Original Music is by the Ivor Novello and BAFTA nominated composed Mark Russell.
