Carm Music’s special documentary on the Hacienda Classical tour will be screened nationwide by Vue Cinemas on Saturday 12th November 2016.
Directed by Chris Cowey, former executive producer of Top Of The Pops and responsible for The White Room and Bowie at the BBC, Vue are showing an extended version of the Channel Four programme which was aired in October. The film is produced by Stephen Chapman and overseen by executive producer Rob McLoughlin.
The cinema screening coincides with the CD release featuring the superb Manchester Camerata Orchestra alongside the AMC Choir, DJs Mike Pickering and Graeme Park as well as other stars Peter Hook and Rowetta.
The one night only cinema release will be preceded by an edited version of Hooky and others in conversation at the world premier press screening in London last month.
“The sound mix is terrific” says Rob McLoughlin, “fans are in for a treat as the extended version gives more layers to the music and the people who have made this unusual fusion of Acid House and Strings work.”
The film and TV versions are all made by Carm Music.
