Rob McLoughlin returns to BBC Breakfast – Saturday 23 September 2017

As the Labour Party gathers in Brighton, as the tension with North Korea and the USA intensifies, as Germany goes to the polls, and as the world reels from a series of natural disasters, Rob takes a look at how the National press are covering these and other events.

He returns to the famous BBC red sofa at 08:20 and 09:20 on Saturday 23rd September 2017 on BBC1 and BBC News.

Rob became ITV’s longest serving presenter of political programmes in 2014; he is a former Deputy Head of News and Editor of Political Programmes and Board Director of Granada Television and he has broken exclusive stories across ITV, ITN, Channel 4 and the media winning ‘Scoop of the Year’ for an ITV special in 2015. Rob was an investigator on the BAFTA winning ‘World in Action’ and co-hosted the very first ‘Morning Reports’ and ‘Weekend Breakfast’ on BBC Radio Five Live.

BBC Breakfast is produced by the BBC News Department and broadcast live from MediaCity UK reaching an audience of 6 million daily.
